A difficult journey deserves a clear answer.

Whether you booked with Jetnify, another travel agency or directly with an airline, you can check a disrupted flight. Jetnify connects you with AirHelp; AirHelp assesses eligibility and, if you engage its service, handles your claim under its terms.

FLIGHT COMPENSATION GUIDE

What passengers should know before starting

Which flights can be checked?

The route and operating carrier determine which passenger-rights rules apply. EU protection generally covers departures from the EU and arrivals into the EU operated by an EU airline. Other regimes can apply to other journeys. A ticket purchased in Bulgaria is not, by itself, proof that EU compensation rules cover the flight.

Delay, cancellation and missed connections

A departure delay and a late arrival are not the same thing. For compensation, the time you reach your final destination can be decisive. If a connection was missed, keep the full itinerary so the journey can be assessed together. Separate tickets may be treated differently.

When compensation may not be payable

Not every disruption creates a right to a cash payment. Exceptional events outside an airline’s control can affect eligibility, and cancellation notice or a suitable replacement flight can change the result. AirHelp reviews the facts rather than promising compensation from the delay length alone.

Compensation, refunds and assistance are different

A ticket refund, rerouting, meals or hotel accommodation are separate questions from fixed flight compensation. Keep receipts for reasonable disruption expenses and ask the airline about immediate assistance. The claim check does not replace urgent help at the airport.

What documents should I keep?

Save your booking confirmation, boarding pass if available, flight number, travel date and messages from the airline. Note when you actually arrived and keep relevant receipts. Upload documents only through AirHelp’s claim process when requested; do not publish passport or payment details.

Do I have to use a claims company?

No. You can approach the airline directly. AirHelp is an optional paid service for passengers who want specialist help. Compare its terms and fees with handling the claim yourself before deciding.

How much does AirHelp charge?

Checking your flight starts without an upfront service fee. Under AirHelp’s standard no-win, no-fee model, a success fee is deducted if compensation is recovered. Its published standard fee is 35%, including VAT; additional legal-action fees may apply where specified in its terms. The current fee schedule and the agreement shown by AirHelp govern your claim.

BEFORE YOU CONTINUE

Your questions, answered

Can I claim if I did not book with Jetnify?

Yes. You can check a flight booked elsewhere. Your rights depend on the journey and disruption, not on where you found this page.

How will AirHelp contact me?

AirHelp uses the contact details you provide during its claim process. Check your email, including spam, for requests for documents and progress updates.

Will I definitely receive €600?

No. €600 is the highest indicative band shown here, before fees. Some flights qualify for a lower amount and others do not qualify at all.

How long does a claim take?

There is no fixed completion time. It depends on the airline’s response, the evidence and whether further action is needed. AirHelp will provide updates about your case.

Who receives my personal details?

The buttons take you to AirHelp, where you enter your details directly. This landing page does not collect your flight documents or submit a claim on your behalf.

Does Jetnify handle the legal claim?

No. Jetnify provides information and a referral. AirHelp assesses and handles the claim if you appoint it. Its service terms and privacy policy apply.
